A classic lamp....actually, not really, because Slight is bi-dimensional.
This is the first reaction on seeing Slight, a creation in which AXO Light interprets the more traditional forms of the table lamp with an ironic sense of fun.
Slight reproduces the silhouette of the classic table lamp, but the third dimension is extremely reduced, as if the lamp had been pressed. The stand has a simple line that is stylised as in a drawing, which then divides to
mark out the profile of the lamp, made in shiny aluminium and black methacrylate. The base on which the
stand rests is also in shiny aluminium, while the shade is in red or vanilla fabric to give diffused light suitable both for the bedroom and for creating a delicate atmosphere in living areas.
